Welcome to Shadey Hill Farm the home of "ss eventing" and Sarah Kleintop!

Shadey Hill Farm is home to the former Sarah Shade , now Sarah Kleintop and Jesse Kleintop, farrier (www.kleintopforge.com). SHF is located in Georgetown, Kentucky just 15 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, off of Newtown Pike, and is a  20 acre farm with a 9 stall barn, a fully functioning tack room, hot and cold water wash rack, 8 paddocks, a cross country course with jumps from starter through preliminary, including water, and a 75 X 200 foot indoor arena. SHF offers training, lessons, and boarding.

Who is Sarah Kleintop?

I moved to Kentucky, from Massachusetts in 2003 for the start of college and for the opportunity to be a working student/groom for Cathy Wieschhoff. Cathy set me up to work with Olympians Karen and David O'Connor, individual gold medalists. In 2005 I achieved my A rating, for the United States Pony Club, the highest level that can be achieved. In 2005, I also took Musntuchit, to the North American Young Riders Championships. There we received the individual bronze medal. In 2006 we again went to NAYRC at the two star level and finished well.

In 2007 I graduated from Midway College with a BA in equine instruction and training and a minor in business. I am now riding under the instruction of Susan Posner, dressage, and Jonathon Holling, eventing and am ready to devote full time to teaching, training and competeing.

After seperate injuries to Musntuchit and to me the 2007/2008 season was a challenge as was 2008/2009 with another knee surgery. My third knee surgery in three years shouldn't set me back this year and I am hoping for a very exciting year with my new horse Foxy and my young horses. Check out Foxy's page.

My students are making great progress with their horses and are having wonderful successes showing.

In January Jesse Kleintop and I got married. I went to the Hollings in Florida in late February for a month with Walter and Foxy to get a jumpstart to the spring season. Walter will again have some time off but I am ready to go.

I want to thank my sponsors for helping me make my dreams possible.

McCauley Feeds: I use their feeds exclusively, and all my horses are in great shape. They have specific feeds to meet each of my horses needs.

Lakota Trailers and TMI Trailer dealers:

Lakota makes excellant trailers. My Lakota gives my horses the best ride they can have and keep us all in comfort with their supurb living quarters. TMI in Walton, KY offers service unmatched when buying a trailer.

Please check out their websites via my links and visit them.
